Derek was an instructor with CSM, training new riders for their road license in the UK before moving to the United States in 1998.

Derek has been riding street motorcycles for 25 years.

He is a former expert roadracer, racing a 600cc Superbike in LRRS at Loudon and FUSA at Daytona. Since retiring from roadracing, Derek has become an MSF Ridercoach and a Senior instructor for Tony’s Track days.

He is also crew chief for CGS Triumph Racing (www.cgsracing.com).

Derek currently rides a 2005 Honda CBR600RR which doubles as a track bike and a daily rider.
