Ken has been riding motorcycles for over thirty years as a commuter, trail rider, and tourer, as well as an expert level road racer. Ken's racing career has spanned over 15 years. His return to road racing netted him two Amateur Acheivement Awards in 2004 in the Loudon Road Race Series (LRRS) LW Sportsman and Ultra LW Superbike classes.
During the past dozen years Ken has been involved in educating hundreds of new and veteran riders as a Motorcycle Safety Foundation RiderCoach and as the chief instructor for Tony's Track Days. Ken also reaches thousands of motorcyclists as the author of The Proficient Motorcycling and Street Strategies columns for Motorcycle Consumer News and will soon reach thousands more with the release of his new book, "Riding in the Zone".
