Cancellation Policy


 

Remember... we run RAIN or SHINE!  

Please realize that we must pay for the racetrack, ambulance, cornerworkers, etc. well in advance of the actual track day.  Whether it rains or not, we have to pay!  While it would be great to only have sunny track days, the reality is that sometimes there will be some rain.  

If we allowed cancellations in the last week, and the forecast called for rain, almost everyone would cancel and we'd be left with the huge bill and no customers.  

 

A Learning Opportunity

Riding on a wet track (or roads) will teach you valuable skills and is something all riders should be comfortable doing.  Our main focus at TTD is to develop your bike handling skills.  Since getting caught on the road in the rain will happen to all of us at some point, it is best to be prepared.

 

Rain Tires

If you are going to ride track days regularly, I strongly urge you buy good rain gear and a set of rain tires.  While rain tires are not necessary, they make a rainy day at the track almost as fun as a dry day!

However, we don't recommend rain tires until you've actually learned to ride in the wet with your regular tires.  This is a critical skill and every motorcyclist should learn it. Visit the MTAG Tire Page for more info.

 


 

RIDER CANCELLATION POLICY

(if you want to cancel/change a date):

 

Please note that there are NO CASH REFUNDS for any of our events. 

If you are unable to attend an event, I encourage you to attempt a private sale or transfer first.

There is no fee to transfer your day to another rider except for these two instances:

  • If a MEMBER is transferring to a NON MEMBER, then there will be a $100 fee assessed as outlined in the Membership Agreement.
  •  If a 6-Pack Special spot is transferred, there is a $50 fee as outlined when purchased.  

 

If you cancel at least 15 days before the event:

There is no charge to switch to another event of equal price in the same year.  If carrying over to another year, then a fee may be assessed (contact us with details)

 


 

From 8 to 14 days before the event:
For a $50 fee, you are eligible to bank your original payment amount.  
Use the link at the bottom of this page to pay the $50 fee. 

(NOTE: depending on the situation, we may waive or reduce this fee - so feel free to email me first)

 


 

Less than 8 days before the event:
If I have a waiting list and I am able to transfer your spot to another person, I will place ONE HALF of your original payment in your TTD account to be used at a later event.   This is only an option if we are SOLD OUT and I have a waiting list.

If I am unable to transfer your spot, there will be no credit.  

 

Remember -  you may sell or give your spot to someone else to avoid any fees.  Contact me by EMAIL if you are transferring your spot to someone else (I just need their name)

 


 

Crash / Mechanical: 

Any rider that is signed up for both days of a 2-day event, and has a crash or mechanical failure on DAY ONE that would prevent them from riding on DAY TWO, can pay $50 to 'bank' their second day. 
Or, you may transfer the spot to someone for no charge.

The mechanical failure must be approved by TTD staff at the event. Tires that are unable to safely be used on day two will NOT qualify for this offer.

 


 

No Shows

Please note that anyone failing to show up for an event - without any previous email dialog and confirmations with me - will not be issued any credit or refund under any circumstance.

IMPORTANT!

Regardless of  when you contact me, you MUST save a copy of my email reply as proof.  If you do NOT get a reply, then you are NOT cancelled.  Please EMAIL me again to straighten out the problem. 

 


 

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY

(if WE have to cancel or change a date):

 

If an event is cancelled by TonysTrackDays, all attendees will receive a FULL CREDIT toward a future equal event.   This credit will be valid for 365 days from the original EVENT DATE,  and is transferrable.

 

If you prefer to receive a REFUND, there will be a $25 handling fee deducted.  (in addition to any original Paypal fees that may have accompanied your payment)
