Cancellation Policy

 

This page outlines both the RIDER CANCELLATION POLICY (if you need to cancel) and the EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY (if TonysTrackDays.com cancels the event). 

Remember... we run RAIN or SHINE!  Only severe weather or flooding will cause us to cancel an event.

NOTE:  The rider cancellation policy does not apply if you have purchased EVENT INSURANCE.

RIDER CANCELLATION POLICY (if YOU want to cancel/change a date):

Please note that there are NO CASH REFUNDS for any of our events. 

However, you may sell or transfer your spot to anyone you wish.  If time permits, send me their NAME and EMAIL ADDRESS and I will make the change.   If it's too close to the event and I am already at the track, simply have your replacement show up at the event and we'll handle the switch at registration.

If you are unable to attend an event and cannot find a replacement, your options are determined by the DATE that you contact me (and get an email response).  The options are listed below:

If you cancel at least 15 days before the event:
There is no charge to switch to another event of equal price. (must be in the same calendar year). 

From 8 to 14 days before the event:
For $50, you are eligible to switch to another open event in the same calendar year.  The $50 must be RECEIVED by the ORIGINAL event date.  If we have a waiting list and I can transfer your spot to someone else, I will waive this fee.

Less than 8 days before the event:
First, contact me via email.  If I have a waiting list, I can probably get your spot sold for you, and transfer yours to another date.   If I don't have a waiting list, the only option is for you to sell or give your spot to someone else.  Contact me by EMAIL if you are able to get someone else to take your spot and I will try to make the change on the website.  Sometimes I am out of email contact several days before the event, so if you don't hear back from me, just have your replacement show up and find me at the track day.   Once again, if  we have a waiting list and I can transfer your spot to someone else, I will assist you as a courtesy. 

Anyone failing to show up - without any previous email dialog and confirmations with me - will not be issued any credit or refund under any circumstance.

To cancel, email me at tony@tonystrackdays.com and I will reply via email. 

IMPORTANT!

Regardless of  when you contact me, you MUST save a copy of my email reply as proof.  If you do NOT get a reply, then you are NOT cancelled.  Please EMAIL me again to straighten out the problem.

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY (if WE have to cancel or change a date):

If an event is cancelled by TonysTrackDays BEFORE the event date,  all attendees will receive a FULL CREDIT toward a future event.   This credit will be valid for 365 days from the original EVENT DATE,  and is transferrable.

If you prefer to receive a REFUND, there will be a $25 handling fee deducted.  (in addition to any original Paypal fees that may have accompanied your payment)

If an event is cancelled by TonysTrackDays on the day of the event (due to track conditions, etc),  there will be a $25 fee applied to ALL those that were registered.   You will then have the two options explained above.
