The track charges TTD whether it is raining or not, so TTD needs your payment to pay the track.
We know it's not ideal, but we strongly encourage riders to participate in wet trackdays. The actual riding techniques do not change - everything is simply done at a lower speed. If you find yourself "slipping" a lot in the wet - then you are doing things wrong in the dry also - but the extra grip is saving your butt. Learn how to ride properly, and your "slipping" (rain or dry) will go away.
Now, I understand things sometimes come up that are beyond your control that may prevent you from attending your trackday. Depending when you notify us, we will do our best to help you out.
However, it's important to understand that there are only a certain number of spots we sell to each trackday. We have a formula using the cost of the track and how many riders can safely fit on the track at one time - and then decide how spots to sell.
When you buy a spot - then that spot is yours for the day. (Similar to reserving a HOTEL room for the night)
Imagine how you would feel if you showed up to the track ready to ride - and I said, "sorry, I sold your spot to someone else." I am sure you would feel like I didn't hold up my part of the agreement.
Similarly, this is how I feel when someone wants to cancel their trackday and leaves me no time to sell that spot to someone else. Remember, your "spot" has no value the day after. If the spot goes unused, then we have less to pay the track owners.
For this reason - asking for a credit to a different date is the same as cancelling - and then signing up for a different day. I am thankful you wish to ride on a different day, but that still means your original spot goes unsold and your payment is not available to pay the bills for that day.
With this in mind, here is the:

Please note that there are NO CASH REFUNDS for any of our events.
If you are unable to attend an event, I encourage you to attempt a private sale or transfer first.
We have created a facebook group that is a great place to help people sell track day spots last minute:
There is no fee to transfer your day to another rider UNLESS a MEMBER is transferring to a NON MEMBER, then there will be a $100 fee assessed as outlined in the Membership Agreement. If a MEMBER buys a spot from a non-member, there will be no refund of the difference.
If you cancel at least 15 days before the event:
There is no charge to switch to another event of equal price in the same year. If carrying over to another year, then a fee may be assessed (contact us with details)
From 8 to 14 days before the event:
For a $50 fee, you are eligible to bank your original payment amount.
Use the link at the bottom of this page to pay the $50 fee.
(NOTE: depending on the situation, we may waive or reduce this fee - so feel free to email me first)
Less than 8 days before the event:
If I have a waiting list and I am able to transfer your spot to another person, I will place at least ONE HALF of your original payment in your TTD account to be used at a later event.
If I am unable to transfer your spot, there will be no credit.
Remember - you may sell or give your spot to someone else to avoid any fees. Contact me by EMAIL if you are transferring your spot to someone else (I just need their name)
Crash / Mechanical:
Any rider that is signed up for both days of a 2-day event, and has a crash or mechanical failure on DAY ONE that would prevent them from riding on DAY TWO, can pay $50 to 'bank' their second day. (basically, this means there is no risk to signing up for 2 days. If you cannot attend the second day, you pay full price for day one and the balance of your payment is banked for future use).
Or, you may transfer the spot to someone for no charge.
The mechanical failure must be approved by TTD staff at the event. Tires that are unable to safely be used on day two will NOT qualify for this offer.
Please note that anyone failing to show up for an event - without any previous email dialog and confirmations with me - will not be issued any credit or refund under any circumstance.
To cancel, email me at email@example.com and I will reply via email.
Regardless of when you contact me, you MUST save a copy of my email reply as proof. If you do NOT get a reply, then you are NOT cancelled. Please EMAIL me again to straighten out the problem.
EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY
(if WE have to cancel or change a date):
If an event is cancelled by TonysTrackDays, all attendees will receive a FULL CREDIT toward a future equal event. This credit will be valid for 365 days from the original EVENT DATE, and is transferrable.
If you prefer to receive a REFUND, there will be a $25 handling fee deducted. (in addition to any original Paypal fees that may have accompanied your payment)
